Advice is always free. Call me anytime on 0414 952 955, happy to chat about any car, no fee and no strings.

The process

I do the hunting.
You do the driving.

Step one

I find the candidates

Tell me your budget and what you need, or send me a car you've spotted. On a full search I hunt Carsales, Facebook Marketplace, dealer sites and the enthusiast forums myself. I call every seller, ask the hard questions and filter out the junk before you ever hear about a car.

Step two

I inspect and verify

Only the shortlist gets my time in person: paint, panels, interior wear against the odometer, service history, test drive. I run the PPSR check for finance owing, write offs and stolen records, then arrange a licensed mechanic for the full mechanical inspection.

Step three

You pay less

You get a straight verdict: buy it, walk away, or here's what it's actually worth. If it's a buy, I negotiate the price using everything the inspection found. The savings usually cover the fee several times over. That's the whole point of paying me.

Why trust me

Numbers I'll stand behind.

17 The age I got burned on my first car. The reason this exists.
10+ Years buying, selling and living used cars, from first cars to enthusiast builds.
6 Cars I've found, inspected and negotiated. Every one for someone I love. Every owner still happy.
$0 Taken from dealers or sellers. Ever. My only pay cheque is yours.
Pricing

Flat fees. No commissions. No surprises.

Every fee is flat, quoted in writing, and agreed before I start. What it costs depends on the car and where it is, because a Corolla in Liverpool isn't a 911 in Newcastle. Tell me what you're looking at and I'll give you a number on the call. It doesn't move after that. And I never take a cent from a dealer or a seller, so my only incentive is getting you the right car at the right price.

Where the money goes. A mobile mechanical check runs $250 to $350 and stops at the engine bay. Everything I do sits around that: the history digging, the market value work and the negotiation. If I can't see a realistic path to saving you more than my fee, I'll tell you on the call, before you pay a cent.
Why it matters

The seller does this every week. You do it every five years.

Hidden damage hides in plain sight

Respray overspray, inconsistent panel gaps, interior wear that doesn't match the odometer. Repaired crash damage and flood cars pass a casual look every day. They don't pass mine.

The history tells the real story

A PPSR check reveals money owing, written off records and stolen flags. Service books reveal skipped maintenance. Five minutes of proper checking beats five years of expensive regret.

Negotiation pays for itself

Sellers price in room to move and count on you not knowing where it is. I come armed with the inspection findings and real market data. The savings usually cover my fee several times over.

The track record

Cars I've helped buy.

Every car below was found, inspected and negotiated by me for friends and family, years before this was ever a business. No one paid me a cent. I did it because I couldn't watch someone I care about make the mistake I made at 17.

I'm not going to show you a wall of five star reviews, because I haven't earned them yet. What I'll show you is six cars, six people who still have them, and six people you're welcome to ring.

Interstate service

The right car isn't always in Sydney. I'll go get it.

Some of the sharpest deals in the country sit in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, priced lower simply because most Sydney buyers won't make the trip. That distance is your advantage, because I will.

If the best example of the car you're after is interstate, I fly out, inspect it in person, arrange the mechanical check with a local licensed mechanic, negotiate the deal, and organise the way home: transported on a truck, or driven back and delivered to your door.

Travel costs are quoted upfront and agreed before anything is booked, so there are no surprises. For rare or high value cars, the interstate saving often pays for the trip several times over.

My story

I know what it costs to get burned. It happened to me.

Jayden at 17 in his KFC uniform, backwards cap and all
Exhibit A: me at 17. KFC uniform, backwards cap, savings account loading. No idea what was coming.

At 17, I spent years working shifts at KFC to save for my first car. A Toyota Corolla. My pride and joy, paid for with every dollar I had.

I was young, naive, and I bought it from someone I thought I could trust. I did everything I thought was right, but I didn't know what to look for, and he knew exactly how little I knew. The car was a lemon. Not long after buying it, I stood at the wreckers, handed over the keys and watched years of double shifts disappear with it.

That day changed how I look at every car, and every seller.

I made it my mission to never let it happen again. Not to me, and not to anyone I know. Since then, friends and family haven't bought a car without me checking it first: inspecting it in person, running the history, and negotiating the price down. Add five years of professional property inspection experience, where my job was literally finding what others miss, and spotting what sellers hide became my trade.

Now I do it for you. Because nobody should learn this lesson the way I did.

Common questions

Straight answers.

I personally handle everything a buyer's agent should: body, paint, panels, interior condition, service history, PPSR checks, the test drive and the value assessment. For the mechanical side, engine, transmission, suspension and diagnostics, we work with a licensed mobile mechanic, so you get a professional mechanical report from a qualified tradesperson, not just my opinion. The mechanic invoices you directly at their own rate. I don't mark it up and I take nothing from it, because the moment I start clipping the ticket on a referral I'm working for them instead of you. You get both sets of findings in plain English, and if they disagree with me, you'll hear that too.

All of Sydney. I'm based in the south west, so Liverpool, Hoxton Park, Campbelltown and surrounds get same day availability most weeks, but I regularly inspect cars from Penrith to the Northern Beaches. And I travel interstate: if the right car is in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or regional NSW, I'll fly or drive out, inspect it there, and organise getting it home. Travel costs are quoted and agreed upfront.

Then the service just did its job. You'll get a clear report explaining exactly why I'd walk away, what the warning signs were, and what to look for in the next one. On the Full Search tier, a failed car costs you nothing extra: the search simply continues until we find one that passes. For Inspect clients, I offer a reduced rate on the next inspection, because one walk away shouldn't mean paying full price twice.

Flat fees, paid by you and only you. Inspections are paid before I attend, and the Full Search service is a deposit up front with the balance when you buy. I never accept commissions, referral fees or kickbacks from dealers, sellers or anyone else. That independence is the whole point: the moment an agent takes money from the selling side, they stop working for you. And advice over the phone is always free, so if you just want a quick opinion on a car, call me.

All three. Private sales are where the biggest bargains and the biggest traps live, and where an inspection matters most. With dealers, I handle the negotiation games, the trade in squeeze and the add on upsells so you don't have to. Auctions I approach carefully and only for experienced clients, since most sell with no cooling off period and limited comeback. Wherever the car is, the process is the same: verify first, negotiate second.
